Louise Behling

Louise Behling, age 90, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born January 4, 1922 in Price, Utah to Harold Keith and Dora Armelia Birch Temple. She married Nelson John Behling, they were later divorced. Louise lived in Kansas until she was 6 years old when her family moved to Price, Utah. She began her family in Salt Lake City, and later moved to Las Vegas, where she raised her children.Louise was very involved in her children’s activities and served in the PTA leadership. She served as Treasurer of the Business and Professional Woman Association. Louise owned a retail store in Price, Utah and later worked as a high end clothing retailer and window designer for the Marshall Russo Company in Las Vegas. She enjoyed art, painting and sculpting and was very talented with floral arrangements. She was also a musician, learning to play the piano in her youth. Survivors include two sons and one daughter: Terry (Audrey) of Glendale, UT; Michael (Linda) of Rockville, UT; Lory (Craig) Fabbi of Logandale, NV; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two sisters and one grandson. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the LDS Hinckley Chapel in Logandale, NV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery.
