Michael Stanton Ellison

Michael Stanton Ellison, age 66, died Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at his home in Overton, Nevada.  He was born November 21, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to Murrell and Shirley Fuqua Ellison.  On April 14, 1989 he married Theresa Jan Meadows in Austin, Texas.

Michael grew up in Chicago, but his family spent much of their time down in Tennessee.  Upon leaving home, he lived in Texas where he became an accomplished and skilled carpenter.  While he enjoyed carpentry work, and fishing and hunting as hobbies, his true passion was working on cars.  He loved restoring old cars, fixing newer cars, building race cars, talking about cars and watching TV shows about cars.  

Survivors include his wife, Jan; son, Jessie Lounsbury (children - Ruby, Jacob & Piper) of Las Vegas, NV;  son, Stanton (Shona) Bradford of TN (children- Kyra, Riley, Piper, and Dallin); son, Loren Lounsbury of (Henderson, NV) (children – Annabel, Logan);  daughter:  Devon (Maco) Eaves of Tyler, TX, niece, Heidi Eddelman of Memphis, TN; sister, Genia Kae (Edward) Kenschaft of Annadale, VA; and brother, William (Kristi) Ellison of Spring Hill, TN.
