Bettylee Patsy Kerley Walkey, 91, passed away on June 29, 2019 in Mesquite, NV. Bettylee was born on September 3, 1927 in Boise, ID to Elmer Clyde Kerley and Jennie Zina Christensen.
She flew around the world as a Pan Am Airline Stewardess in the early 1950's. She married Kenneth Walkey of Burbank, CA in 1956 and lived for over fifty years in Granada hills, CA. She stayed home and raised three boys and many champion Yorkshire Terriers. She was a member of many groups, such as; the Women’s Club of Granada Hills, Mother of Twins Club, and Women’s Republican group. She was a Devoted Christian, ending every conversation with, “God Bless You!” and... you always felt blessed, having met her.
Bettylee is survived by her three sons; Patrick (Joyce) Walkey, Terence (Sherrie) Walkey, and Timothy (Charina) Walkey, her eleven grandchildren, and her nineteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Clyde Kerley and Jennie Christensen Corbin; brothers; Samuel and Douglas Kerley.
Memorial Services will be held at the Chapel on 102 N. 132nd St., Seattle, WA on August 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
