Claudia M. Franklin, 80, passed away November 07, 2018 at her home in Mesquite, NV. She was born March 20, 1938 in Spokane, WA, to Calvin B. Riddell and Constance Valeria Vermillion. She married Roy G. Franklin in 1960.
She was raised in Spokane, WA, And lived in various places in Washington State, Claudia was an executive secretary for many associations and businesses in her working life. Her hobbies included crosswords and reading on historical and religious topics. She was interested in travel and visited many countries including Israel and many in Europe.
Claudia was a complete woman who was loved as a wife, mother, and friend. She was admired by those that worked with her in various positions she held over the years. She had to support herself and her daughter at an early age, but never felt sorry for herself. She was a woman of faith that loved the lord and worked in the church for many years. She had a long term battle with cancer that eventually took her life.
Claudia will be remembered as a woman that was always ready and willing to help those in need. She was a source of strength to her family and friends, and will be missed in many ways.
She is Survived by her husband; Roy G. Franklin, her daughter; Cynthia VanCleve, and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren living in the Western United States.
