Ellie Cottam Obituary

Ellie Jane Cottam

Our precious Ellie Jane was born sleeping Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 3:41 a.m. at Centennial Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. She weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 20 inches long with a full head of red hair just like her 3 older sisters. She was due to be delivered on August 2, 2019 but had complications with her umbilical cord. She was and is total perfection. We are comforted to know that Ellie has been welcomed back to her Heavenly Home to the arms of our Heavenly Father. Although her passing brings great sadness to our lives, we feel peace and joy knowing that she is ours forever. Her name means God is my light and God is gracious. We now have our own shining light waiting for us in Heaven. We are grateful for the peace and love we have felt from thoughts and prayers offered in our behalf.

Ellie Jane Cottam is survived by her parents, Chad Vern Cottam and Amanda Sue Nicholes Cottam; three sisters, Abby Lyn, Brianna Mae and Lucy Claire; grandparents, Beth Cottam of St. George, UT; Richard & Marilyn Nicholes of Kent, WA and great grandmother, Helen Smedley of Mountain Green, UT. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Gery Sidney Cottam

Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 9 a.m. (MST) at the St. George City Cemetery, St. George, UT.
