Janette De Berard Obituary

Janette Gladys "Jan" DeBerard, age 81, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born December 14, 1936 in Swanton, Ohio to Robert Reed and Vernena Sadie Cunningham Ball. On July 17, 1966 she married Arthur Connel DeBerard in Denver, Colorado.

Jan grew up in Swanton. She earned her Associates Degree then worked at various companies providing bookkeeping and payroll services. She was a devoted wife and mother, always supportive of her husband in his 30 year military career and for her sons activities. Upon relocating to Logandale in 1995, she volunteered many hours to the Lost City Museum. With others, she helped to found the Mesquite Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Art of Logandale, NV; two sons, William "Bill" (Stephanie) of Brighton, CO; Daniel "Dan" (Jacqueline) of La Grange, KY; five grandchildren, Preston, Danielle, Gabrielle "Gaby", Austin James "AJ", Bailey; two brothers and one sister: David (Lois) Ball of Toledo, OH; Kenneth (Linda) Ball of Garry, IN and Ruth Mills of Richmond, IN. She was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Lee.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Mesquite Lutheran Church, 450 Turtle Back Road, Mesquite, Nevada. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com
