Jeffrey E. Jones

Jeffrey E. Jones, 62, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, June 11, 2017 in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born September 5, 1954 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Ivins E. Jones and Thirza Hardy Jones.

Jeff was raised in Henderson, Nevada. He enjoyed spending summers in Veyo, Utah.

Jeff joined the army after graduating from Basic High School in Henderson. He advanced to the rank of Staff Sergeant. After leaving the Army he worked construction, the city of Mesquite, and for the past eighteen years he has worked for Bulldog Pest Control.

Jeff enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He liked to collect coins. He loved his animals. He was a dog rescuer.

Jeff is survived by both of his parents, Ivins and Thirza Jones of Veyo, UT; sisters: Ann (Bob) Jackson, Eva (Dallas) Reber of Mesquite, NV, and Jennifer (Troy) of St. George, UT, and his two faithful dogs, Sparky and Slim of Scenic, AZ.

There will be a graveside service Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. mst in Veyo, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mesa View Hospice, Mesquite, Nevada.
