Dear Humes family, I had the honor and privilege to serve with Jeffery at Fort Campbell. He always knew how to make you smile and laugh even out training when it was cold and wet, he always had a joke to crack. He was/is an amazing soldier and brother in arms. It hurts to know he is gone. You have my deepest sympathy and condolences! To Jeffery. Brother, your watch is over. Until Valhalla!

Jeff we are so sorry to hear of your passing. We haven't known you long but , what we know of you is that you seem to be a very nice and respectful person, loved by many. Our grandson Juan thought so much of you and is having a hard time with this. RIP Jeff, you will be missed by many.

I wish I could be there for the funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with the Humes family and all of Jeff's loved ones. We knew each other when we were young, and even though it's been years I still remember all of the good times we had. He made a difference to a lot of us and will be missed.
