Kandice Leigh (Stokes) Centeno

Mesquite, NV - Kandice Leigh Stokes Centeno, 29, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018.  She was born July 16, 1989 in Logan, Utah to Christopher Todd Stokes and Kimberly Olsen.  She married Enrique Centeno on June 28, 2017 in Bunkerville, NV.

Kandice was raised in Logan, Utah and moved to Mesquite, Nevada ten years ago.  She was a ray of sunshine in all the lives of those around her and would help anyone who needed help.  She loved horses and dogs and most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.  Her husband and daughter were her life. She loved them dearly.  She also loved to swim, dance, fly kites and she was an excellent cook.  This she learned at a young age, cooking with her grandmother.
She was a much loved wife, mother, daughter and granddaughter.  She had many friends who will miss her.

She is survived by her husband; Enrique Centeno, daughter; Zoey Stokes, brother; Christopher T. Stokes, father; C. Todd Stokes, mother; Kim Palmer, grandmother; Verna Olsen, grandfather; Francis D. Stokes, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her grandfather; Harlow B. Olsen, grandmother; Cora Stokes, and uncle; R. Mark Lundberg.
