My heart goes out to the Kirk family and friends of Lance in your time of sorrow. I know Lance has left you with many precious memories from his 29 way too short years with you all. When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes much sadness and grief. Jesus with the help of Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) God promises the only one who does not lie (Titus1:2) that we will see Lance and our loved ones again by means of a resurrection (Acts 24:15, John 5:28, 29). I hope the Kirk family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection. Our loving heavenly Father, "Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. Revelations 21: 4 says: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." The Kirk family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences. For more comforting and encouraging scriptures on the resurrection, please visit jw.org.

To the Family of Lance, I am not known by you all, but I considered Lance a very dear friend even though we haven't seen one another in years. We went through a very tough time in our lives together, but his humor, wit and big heart lifted me when I was down and and I too would return the favor to him. As y'all know better than I the world is a sadder place without him. My deepest sympathies to you all. God bless us all and the day we see him again.

Sorry to learn of the loss of your dear Lance. Death is an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26) that will very soon be eleminated forever (Revelation 21:3,4). This promise has been given by Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18). Jesus promises that one day he is going to bring back to life all those who have died so you can reunite with your dear love ones (Acts 24:15 and John 5:28,29). Please find comfort, as you meditate on these loving promises. For more comforting and encouraging scriptures on the resurrection, please visit www.jw.org.

Lance was my daughter Kyndall's best friend. I remember Lance coming over with the rest of the kids when they were in junior high. He was always respectful, kind & his laugh made you laugh even if you didn't know what was funny. Lance over the years would come over for BBQs and would go camping with us . He was an amazing man, country dancer and overall great person. Our family will miss him terribly, but know he is at peace. To his brothers, he spoke of you all often and was very proud of each of you, may you keep strong in knowing his love was unconditional to you all. Rip Lance

There is not a bad thing to say about a man so kind hearted as Lance Kirk. He had a sense of humor that could not be matched. I knew Lance in high school and on the football field. I later knew him as one of the best friends of my younger brother. He was a loyal friend, an advocate for the down trodden and a breath of fresh air no matter where he went. His memory will be with us on the mountain tops and his laugh with us when we hit the road less traveled. Rest well my friend. You will be missed.
