Leonard Samuel Clark

Leonard Samuel Clark, our beloved dad, brother, grandpa, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully at home with his family, January 22, 2018. Leonard was born in Salt Lake City, UT, May 1, 1934, to Leonard Clark and Pearl Yeaman Clark.

Leonard was raised and educated in Salt Lake City, UT. He loved hunting, fishing, prospecting, and camping with family and friends. Later in life he took up golfing, which became his passion. He was an original member of the "Beaver Dam Mafia Golfing" group. He built many lasting friendships through all of his adventures in life. He was loved by all with his love for life and fun sense of humor. Memories have been made with his laughter, wit, and love for family and friends. He had a way of making friends wherever he went.

He married E. Jean Boweter (deceased) on April 28, 1951, and they later divorced. Their children; Merry Lingmann, L. Steven Clark (Marilyn), Mark S. Clark, and Peggy L. Rushton (Douglas), eleven grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.

He later married Carol F. Lupo on July 14, 1984 (deceased). Her children are; Maryanne McFarland (David), Gianine Lupo, John Lupo (Dorothea), and Karen Lupo Schmidt (David), along with seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

He is survived by his siblings; Ronald L. Clark (Pat), E. Jeanne Edwards (Mick), Lloyd R. Clark (Elaine),sister in law; Margaret Clark; and brother in law, Robert Anderson. He is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Anderson and brother;William "Bill" F. Clark.

His family truly adored him. Family and friends will never forget him. He will forever be in our hearts with memories we will cherish forever.
