I was so glad that I saw Mervins obituary today. I am the same age as his sister La Verne. We all went to the same high school. Sure wish I could be at the services tomorrow. I have such love for all those I grew up with. Dora and family know you will be blessed. I lost my husband 34 years ago, I think he was the same age as Mervin. May God Bless.

Merv was always one of my favorites. He was always kind and interesting and fun. I so appreciate the family and our love goes out to all of them, especially Annie and her family.

Uncle Mervin will always be the storyteller to me. I loved visiting with him and hearing his stories, along with his laugh and chuckle. I remember well a visit we made to Idaho to visit his family in the big farm house. I also remember him driving a truck load of corn down to Bunkerville and Mesquite during the summer and everyone coming out to buy delicious sweet corn! Then the work began to cut it of the cobb for freezing or canning!
I loved Uncle Merv, even though I didn't see him often, he was one of my favorites! I did get a short visit in last summer and I'm grateful for that time.
