Tammie Jean Johnson

Tammie Jean Johnson, age 56, died Friday, November 8, 2019 in Mesquite, Nevada after battling cancer for almost a year. She was born December 20, 1962 in Baldwin Hills, California to Charles Edward and Sarah Jean Chauvie Johnson.

Tammie lived most of her life in Lawndale, California. She recently moved to Logandale, Nevada to be near her sister, Patty.  Tammie loved animals more than anything. She was the proud owner of Critter Sitter, a animal care business she built shortly after moving to Logandale.  She enjoyed meeting new people and always made a friend wherever she went. She will be remembered most for her laugh and her zany sense of humor. 

Tammie is survived by two brothers and three sisters: Linda Edwards of Rogers, AR;  Patty (John) Anderson of Logandale, NV; Tony (Dawn) Johnson of Durham, NC; Robert Hanson of Garden Grove, CA; and Gina (Brandy) Hanson of Beaumont, CA. She also had many beloved nieces and nephews.
