Dear Cindy, I only knew Tony because we would run into each other walking our dogs. I think you can tell what a person is like by the way he treats animals., and Tony would always squat down and greet my dogs like they were long-lost friends. They always loved that. I don't know why good people are taken from us, and I'm sorry you have to go on with your life without him. My heart goes out to you and your family. Jan Dyer

All the best to Tony's family. How proud you should be of the way he lived life, faced adversity and served others. So sorry to hear of the painful moment in time his death brings to each of you. For him there are bright sunrises and beautiful - pain free sunsets. We hope you find peace and joy in the memories you have.

Tony,
Your life here with us was cut short by your illness, but your impact on everyone you came in contact with and the memories of you will last forever. I actually got to know you before I ever met you while serving in Finland/ Suomi. You were there before me, but I had the privilege of meeting some of the souls you came in contact with in the city of Rauma, and impacted in a positive way. They spoke highly of you and I remember seeing pictures of you in their memory books. I then had the honor and privilege of getting to serve with you for 25 years at the Ogden City Police Department. You were always a voice of reason when some of us acted like bulls in a china closet. I cherish the times we spent together, learning and growing from your examples and willingness to stand up for what was
right and lead by example. You helped me more than you will ever know. We had a hell of a run with the S.W.A.T team, you being made the team commander before the 2002 Winter Olympics and right after 9/11. The training trip to Mongolia, where you talked me into getting the massage from hell and the wolf hunting trip with the Mongolians that was quite the adventure to say the least. Our work and days in the C.P. Unit was a hoot, especially having your dear friend and bother from another mother, Tom Breen there to help keep us all on track. We are all better for having known you and this world is not going to be the same without you. You were always, "In the Arena." I will see you on the other side along with all the other fallen eagles!
-LONG LIVE THE BROTHERHOOD-
Retired Lt. Will Cragun

Cindy,
Thanks for sharing Tony with us over the years! God speed you and your family and my deepest condolences on his passing. Sorry for not doing a better job of staying in contact, but you both have always been in my thoughts and prayers.
