A. Tim Boyce Obituary



A. Tim Boyce, age 83, died peacefully in his home on December 23, 2022. Tim was born on December 1, 1939 in Murray, UT to Milan Cyrus Boyce and Dortha N. Campbell. He had five siblings: Harvey, Bonnie, Clell, Mack, and Bard. 
He married L. Marie Staker in the late 1950's; they had three children: Tina, Bret, and Bart; they were later divorced. He then moved to Moapa Valley in the early 1980's where he and his sweetheart, Eileen Lani, opened a septic and porta-potty company, Boyce Inc. & PPTP. They later married on May 2, 1987 in Ely, NV. He was a devoted husband of thirty-five years of marriage and they were inseparable.
Tim was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT where he learned at an early age the value of hard work. He excelled in school, graduating as an “A” student from Olympus High in 1956, and was involved in many clubs. His dedication to hard work was proven through his skill as a tractor operator and concrete worker. He enjoyed hunting and the great outdoors. 
Tim will always be remembered for his big heart, generosity, and his willingness to help others. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and community.
Survivors inslude his wife, Eileen; children, Tina (Steven) Retford and Bret (Amy) Boyce; step children: David Waldroup, Emzily Waldroup; Kim Marshall, Vicki (Ben) Nelson; brother Bard Boyce and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milan and Dortha Boyce; siblings, Harvey Boyce, Clell Boyce, Bonnie Johnson, Mack Boyce; daughter-in-law, Mary Waldroup; son, Bart Boyce, and daughter, Penny.  
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd., Logandale, Nevada.  Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com.
