Adell Winsor (Bundy) Doerr

Adell Winsor Doerr, 96, passed away on July 25, 2023 in her home in Las Vegas, NV. Adell was born in St. George, UT on March 15, 1927 to Omer Bundy and Rowena Whitmore. Adell lived in Logandale, NV and married Leon Winsor on May 18, 1946 and they had two children, Delon “De” and LaRee. Adell became a widow when Leon died in a plane accident. She raised her two children and worked as a waitress. She met Carl Doerr, and they were married in Las Vegas, NV on March 15, 1958. They moved to Las Vegas, NV where she and Carl built several homes. She helped pour concrete and build the frames. She loved crocheting, and was a wonderful cook and baker. She always cooked for the large family gatherings. She had nine siblings, and they were always traveling together.

Adell is survived by her children, De (Jeanette) Winsor and LaRee Buck; her grandchildren, Chris Winsor, Darrell Winsor, Farrah Toscano, and Ryan Buck; her great-grandchildren, Tyce, Lacey, Tessa, Aron, Christopher, Taeson, and Jess; one great-great-granddaughter, Sophia Bray; and her siblings, Glendon, Renee, Dean, and Dolores. She is preceded in death by her parents, Omer and Rowena Bundy; her husband, Leon Winsor; her husband, Carl Doerr; her grandson, Aron Buck; and her siblings, Emer, Ray, Ellen, Nora, and Stanley.

A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, 10:00 a.m. MST, at the St. George Cemetery, 650 E. Tabernacle St. St. George, UT 84770, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 807 W. Capilla, Washington, UT 84780.
