Alice Mabel (Kellar) Williams

     Alice Mabel Williams, age 93, died Saturday, October 21, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She was born July 17, 1930 in Greenville, Pennsylvania to Lawrence Paul Sr. and Edna Ellen Simpson Kellar.  On June 21, 1971 she married Shelby John Williams in Overton, Nevada.  He preceded her in death on October 26, 2011.
    Alice grew up in Greenville before she moved to Chicago, Illinois as a pre teen.  In 1958 she relocated to Overton, Nevada for a better climate.  She built a great life in Overton, owning and operating the Desert Palms Trailer Park and working as a bookkeeper at Nevada Power and for various valley business owners.  She loved belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She loved serving in the church, especially the years spent working in the Las Vegas Temple.  She loved her family and was firm in her faith.
    Survivors include one daughter, Jennean Scacco of Las Vegas; three sons: Tony Scacco of Las Vegas, NV; Step -son Jim Williams of Dayton, NV; Step -son Paul Shaw of Las Vegas, NV; two daughters in law, Jennene Scacco of Overton, NV; Debbie Scacco of Las Vegas, NV; eleven grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Gary and Dwayne; one brother and three sisters.
    Funeral services will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Sunrise Stake Center, 1825 N. Hollywood Blvd., Las Vegas, NV.  Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel.  Alice will be interred next to her husband on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 9:20 a.m. in the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, NV.  Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com
