Bette Lynne Cottrell,72, passed away January 12, 2019 at Highland Manor in Mesquite, NV. She was born February 13, 1946 to Glenn E Fortna and Dorothy Nigh in Pontiac, Illinois.
She married Richard Cottrell on July 5, 1964 in Pontiac, Illinois. She was raised in Pontiac, and graduated from Pontiac High School in 1964.

She and Richard spent 24 ½ years in the United States Air Force. They lived in France, Boston, MA and San Antonio, TX during their military years. Additional stops included Phoenix, Omaha and Colorado, before settling in Mesquite. Bette’s hobbies included art and crafts; video poker and her family.

Bette is survived by her husband Richard Cottrell of Mesquite, NV, children; Jeffrey Cottrell and wife, Sabina of Belton, TX; Gregory Cottrell of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren; Matthew, Joshua Riley and Avery of Texas, her sisters; Kay Inman, Shirley Brockman and Kathy Quackenbush of
Arizona.

Bette is preceded in death by her parents; Glenn and Dorothy Fortna of Arizona.
