DeAnn (Lister) Walker

DeAnn Walker, 67, passed away on August 25, 2021 in Moapa, NV. DeAnn was born on November 9, 1953 in Ogden, UT to Marion Boyd Lister and Lola Mae Smith. She was the youngest of her four siblings, and was so young that she grew up with her nieces and nephews. She met Steve Walker and they were married in Winnemucca, NV on December 12, 1988. DeAnn loved being with her family, spending many weekends camping and fishing. She would teach her granddaughters to bake for birthdays and holidays. She was a talented seamstress, able to knit and sew. She was fun to be around, and would find ways to be with her grandchildren.

DeAnn is survived by her husband, Steve Walker; her children, Douglas (Julie) Walker and Kara (Alvaro) Mendoza; her thirteen grandchildren; her five great-grandchildren; her sister, Ellen “Aunt Sandy” Thomas, and a large extended family. She is preceded in death by her son, William Tipton; a grandchild; and her siblings, Marian Slack, Fred Lister, and Clark Lister.
