Dolores Klein, 88, passed away on May 13, 2022 in Las Vegas, NV under the tender care of her son and daughter. Dolores was born on April 26, 1934 in Detroit, MI to Andrew Casmir Klein and Bernice Rose Uzarski. Dolores loved her family and dedicated her life to caring for them. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and took it as a second career to watch her grandchildren and her sister’s grandchildren. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved watching her TV Shows and playing Bingo and a bit of gambling. She was proud of her Polish family traditions, and would cook traditional food for holidays. She was a AFL-CIO Beauty Queen, and runner-up for Miss Michigan. Dolores was strong in spirit, and faced life with faith and determination.

Dolores is survived by her children, Karen (Rich) Kogelschatz and Aren Klein; her grandchildren, Summer, Austin, Mike, and Lauren; and her siblings, Bernard Ronald “Ronny” (Lalah) Klein, Gerald “Gerry” (Betty) Klein, and Irene (Dennie) Spears; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 10-11:00 a.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd, Logandale, NV, with a Funeral Mass at 11-12:00. Interment will take place on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the Logandale Cemetery. Live Stream services will be available at Dolores Klein Memorial Facebook Group.
