James Conrad Lyman “Jimmy”, age 48, passed away on August 4, 2022 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born on May 20, 1974 in Rock Springs, WY to Cleo Reed Lyman and Virginia Robyn Kleese. He married Danette Orr “Dana” on July 21, 2001 in Casper, WY.
James worked in the Oil industry as a consultant. He enjoyed the outdoors; including camping, fishing, hunting and especially golfing. He was an avid fan of the Steelers and Utah Utes. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was known for his wonderful BBQ cooking.
To know him was to love him. In this industry, people come and go but the good ones are remembered for the impression and influence they have on you. You’ll never hear James Lyman and bad guy in the same sentence. He treated us like family and made sure we were taken care of. I’ll end this the same way you ended our last conversation, “You know I love ya man.”
James is survived by his wife, Dana Lyman; four children; Kristin (Jeff) Holmberg, Tyler (Chantal) Osborn, Kristofer (Zoee) Lyman, Tymothy Lyman, his father; Cleo (Mary) Lyman, his mother; Robyn (Dave) Cox, three brothers; Jon (Stephanie) Manning, Michael (Heidi) Manning, Austin (April) Lyman, four sisters; Kristi Lyman, Tony (Andrew) Vigil, Teressa (Carl) Broadhead, Stacey (Brian) Steck, three grandchildren; Paislee, Levi and Alec. James will be missed by his family and friends.
