Jesse Ramos

Jesus “Jesse” E. Rosales Ramos, age 68, died Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at his home in Overton, Nevada.  He was born April 29, 1954 to Miguel “Mike” and Maria de Luz Ramos in Santa Maria, CA.  On June 22, 1974 he married Emelia Dominguez in Overton, Nevada.  They were married with four children for 35 years before getting divorced.

Jesse grew up in the Moapa Valley.  While in High School, he excelled in sports, football, wrestling and baseball and raised steers in FFA.  He enjoyed playing guitar through out his life, even playing in a band in high school.  He worked for Simplot as a stacker operator and with his father on the farm.  He had many interests including riding motorcycles, camping, fishing, golfing and cycling.  He was boisterous and fun and filled up the room.  He loved his grandkids and family more than life.  He loved to make jokes and make people laugh.  He made noise everywhere he went.  

Survivors include the mother of their children, Emelia of Overton; three sons and one daughter: Jesus Jr. (Jessica) Of San Diego, CA; Santana (Gricelda) of Logandale, NV; Javier (Amanda) both of Logandale, NV; Linda (Jeremy) Finlayson of Juneau, AK; five grandchildren: Alejandro “Jandro”; Anthony; Jacob “Jake”;  Gabriel “Gabe” and Liliana “Lily”; his father, Miguel Sr. of Logandale, NV; two brothers and three sisters: Miguel “Mike”; Benino “Benny”; Soledad “Chole”; Francisca “Chica” and Josephina “Josie”.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria de Luz;  brother, Avelino; sister, Rose Marie and grandson, Lucas Ray.  

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 9, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary Chapel, 5090 N.
