Kenneth Slight

    Kenneth Lawrence Slight, age 73, died Thursday, June 29, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  He was born February 6, 1950 in Glendale, California to Marion Frank and Violet Marjory Johnson Slight.  
    Ken grew up in Los Angeles, California.  He attended Pasadena City College for two years before joining the US Navy during the Vietnam Era.  He lived in Temple City, California where he worked as a journeyman plumber, working for the union all over Southern California.  He had a knack for computers and electronics.  He loved fishing, steams, ocean and lakes.  Family was always important to him.  As one of the oldest grandchildren, he had a special connection with both of his grandpas.  He loved family parties and gatherings.
    Survivors include four brothers and two sisters: Karen (Craig) Wiseman of Redding, CA;  Kathleen (Brent) Gnighting of Smithfield, UT; Kent of Logandale, NV; Kim (Rochelle) of Coos Bay, OR; Kurt (Kate) of Logandale, NV; Kevin of Mesquite, NV.
    Graveside Services will be beheld Thursday, July 6, a.m. at 11 a.m.(MST) at the Monroe City Cemetery.  Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com
