Obituary
LouAnn “Lou” Silva was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and loving aunt. She passed away peacefully on November 3, 2021 at the age of 63 in Mesquite, NV.
She was born to Ethel Mary Wheeler and Harold Eugene Young on February 11, 1958. Lou came from humble beginnings as the youngest of 9 children, raised in Denver, CO. She met her husband Jim in Federal Heights, Colorado and they were married October 2, 1974. Together they raised their two sons in Thornton, Colorado. Lou loved spending time in Mexico, San Francisco and Las Vegas, whenever she had the chance to travel. She became a proud grandmother to Kylie, Chase, Tyler and Noah, who were her greatest joy. As a Colorado native she loved rooting for the Broncos and supporting her grandkids on the sideline of their various sports. Lou loved the holidays and always made them special for her family. She was generous of heart and spirit and never missed a chance to celebrate an anniversary, birthday or special occasion.
Lou is survived by her loving husband, Jim, sons, Bryan (Christy) & Jeremy (Stacia), four grandchildren, four brothers and one sister, along with a large extended family of nieces & nephews and in-laws.
Lou will be honored in a Celebration of Life to be held in Colorado (date to be determined).
