Marie Ruth (Trujillo) Blea

        Mesquite, Nevada - Marie Ruth Trujillo Blea, 95, passed away on February 4th, 2021. She was born in Chamita, New Mexico, to Jose Ramon Trujillo and Adela Sanchez. Marie married Belarmino Bernie Blea on September 29th, 1947 at St. Daniels Catholic Church in Ouray, Colorado. 
        Marie was raised near Montrose, Colorado. She and her husband, Bernie, lived in various Western U.S. states and traveled all across the US and some parts of Canada. They loved camping in their trailer and fishing with one another. She was a character, one who everyone loved. She always enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Marie loved bingo, playing the guitar, and would even sing "Red River Valley" with her sister Flora at PTA meetings. She was a compassionate woman who would give you the shirt off her back. 
        She is survived by her daughter, Jenny, grand-daughter Amanda, and brother and sister-in-law, Luis and Miyo Trujillo. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings - Ben, Ralph, Emil, Chonita, Tony, Flora, and Senida. 
        The family would like to provide special thanks to the Mesa View Hospice team for their loving care, and to the local bingo community for their friendship.
