Marina Ann (Taurone) Gallo

Marina Ann Gallo, age 62, died Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at her home in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born May 4, 1958 in New York City, New York to Michael Albert and Caroline Naglieri Taurone. On December 23, 2014, she married Steven Salvatore Gallo in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Marina grew up in the Bronx. She spent most of her adult life in Yonkers before recently moving to Mesquite in 2020. She was admired as hard worker, thoughtful and cheerful working as a server in various New York restaurants. She was beautiful, thoughtful and always willing to give her talents to those in need. She was a strong, caring mother and fiercely independent. She loved raising her sons and partnering with her husband. She enjoyed cooking with Steven and socializing with friends, and going to spend time at the beach.

Survivors include her husband, Steve of Mesquite; two sons: Raymond DeFeis, Joseph DeFeis; two grandchildren , both of Yonkers, NY; her mother, Caroline Taurone of East Chester, NY; one brother and two sisters: Karen (Richard) Starkey of Wantagh, NY; Michele (Ron) Lebel of Bohemia, NY and Paul (Debbie) Taurone of Pleasantville, NY.
