In Loving Memory

MaryAnne Roland passed peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, May 27, 2021 in Mesquite, Nevada at the age 59.  She was born June 9, 1961 to Richard and Karen (Vail) Gossett in Ohio.  In September of 2001 she married Alton “JD” Roland.  
In her life, MaryAnn wore many hats, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and yes even as Great Grandmother.  She worked 16 years for the phone company, before she dedicated the rest of her life to others.  Always going where she was truly needed the most.  MaryAnne LOVED to cook and bake, any reason to bring friends and family together.  She loved to be on the GO!!  Whether it was across the United States of just down the road.  She loved the outdoors, especially the ocean.  She made her mark everywhere she went. 

MaryAnne is survived by her husband, JD Roland; sister, Amy (Vaughn) Reed; sister, Stephanie  (Mark Overly) Gossett; step sister, Carlene Jarrett, step brother, Colby (Kathleen) Jarrett, step mother, Carol Gossett; half brothers, Jason and Toby Roskowski; Children: Teresa Thompson;  Katrina (Lucas) Bushell; Roberta (Chris Black) Cody; Timothy Mangun; Chevon (Morgan) Gregory; Ty Hunter; Stormy (Ben) Cross; Sam Hunter; twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by one sister, Wendy Gamble and her parents.  

Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 9 - 11 a.m. at the Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E. Old Mill Road, Mesquite, Nevada.  Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.virginvalleymortuary.com
