Matthew Luke Winney, Sr., age 40, passed away July 8, 2020 in Mesquite, NV. He was born June 30, 1980 in Gloversville, NY to Thomas Henry Winney and Michele Emma Capparello Winney. On February 21, 2004, he married Michelle Lyn Lander in Mayfield, NY.

Matthew grew up in New York, and worked alongside his brother as an independent contractor in the fencing industry. He moved to Littlefield, AZ in May of 2019. He enjoyed wood working, building furniture and cabinets. He loved cooking and was quite the "Grillmaster". Matthew was a loving father and husband.

He is survived by his wife; Michelle, son; Matthew (Alyssa Santiago), of Johnstown, NY, daughters; Magan, of Mayfield, NY, Madisin, and Macie, both of Littlefield, AZ, one grandson; Oakley, mother-in-law; Wendy Lyons, of Beaver Dam, AZ, brothers; Shane (Judy) Douglas of Johnstown, NY, Tommy(Michelle) Winney of Missouri; sister in law, Cassondra Lyons; sister in law, Rene Lander and many nieces and nephews.
