Melvin Sinclair Obituary

Melvin Lavern Sinclair, age 81, died Friday, June 25, 2021 at his home in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born November 30, 1939 in Bonners Ferry, Idaho to Herman Peter and Cora Elizabeth Patterson. On August 14, 1960 he married Phyllis Irene Cockrum in Boise, Idaho.

Melvin grew up in Bonners Ferry. He raised his family in Twin Falls, Idaho and later in Boise. Melvin was a hard worker. He often worked three jobs to provide for his young family, including fro the National Cash Register Computers and the Lorillard Tobacco Company. His most recent, steady job was delivering newspapers for the Boise and Twin Falls newspapers. He found fulfillment in providing for his wife and children.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis of Mesquite, NV; one daughter, Sandra Eudave of Mesquite, NV; three sons: Kenneth (Brenda); Donald (Stephanie) both of Meridian, ID; Jeremy (Bonnie) of Nampa, ID; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters: Judy (Bert) Wilkens of Sierra Vista, AZ and Donna Stippich of Post Falls, ID.
