Michael Sanchez

Michael Dean Sanchez, 64, passed away on August 31, 2022 in Las Vegas, NV. Michael was born on September 29, 1957 in Laramie,WY to Delfino Sanchez and Cora Labato. He was a man of faith that loved his Christ, which started in his early years with his family. He would always take joy in serving and spreading the love of his God. Michael graduated from Cheyenne East High School where he ran Track. He was a heavy equipment operator that worked in multiple gold mines. From Wyoming, Colorado to Nevada. He was very passionate about his work, and took great pride in every job he did. That’s where his love for rocks started. He loved being in the outdoors and He loved his music and was always singing and dancing. He was goofy and always fun to be around. He was caring and compassionate, and always sought to serve others, and did what he had to do to take care of his family. The center of his universe was his five daughters, and being with his grandchildren.

Michael is survived by his daughters, Carisa Ehrhardt, Natasha Sanchez, Larissa Curry, Kyla Sanchez, and Victoria White; his eleven grandchildren with one on the way; his five great-grandchildren; his siblings, Jim, Danny, Ilene, Rose, LouAnn, and his twin, Charles; and a large extended family. His is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Marcela, Frank, Ester, Anita, and Eva.
