Michael "Mike" Joe Perisho

    Michael “Mike” J. Perisho was called to Heaven on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.  He was born on October 6, 1945 in Decatur, Illinois to Earmel and Frances Powers Perisho.  
    Mike spent his formative years in Paris, Illinois.  In 1964 he enlisted in the United States Army serving in Korea and England.  He received his training as an X-Ray technician which enabled him to create his career in Chicago, Illinois and Anchorage, Alaska. In 2010 Mike retired to Overton, Nevada where he found many new friends and family and a love for bicycling in the desert.
     He is survived by his children: Michael (Patti), Gabrielle Cordes (Jim), sister, Joy, 6 grandchildren and wife, Kristen Perkins. He enjoyed helping and serving others. 
    At his request, his remains were donated to Science Care. The family would like to thank Mesa View Hospice and Moapa Valley Mortuary, and the many friends and family who supported us during this time. A wake will be scheduled at a later date.
