Robert John Wieczorek

Robert John Wieczorek, “Bob”, age 71, died Thursday, December 23, 2021 peacefully in his sleep at his home in Mesquite, Nevada.  He was born on May 27, 1950 in Glendale, California to Waldemar Robert Wieczorek and Mary Catherine Houle Wieczorek, as the third of nine children.  
Robert grew up in Sunland Tujunga, California.  Bob raised his 3 children in Santa Clarita, and later moved to San Diego.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Accounting from CSUN and later went back to school to earn his MBA in Human Resource Management from National University.  He worked his way up through So Cal Gas until his retirement, with over 40 years with the company.  He went from digging trenches in his early years, to a position in Accounting, to working at Sempra Energy in Human Resources.  He later retired at San Diego Gas and Electric as a Principal Accountant: Depreciation.  
Bob was most proud of his 3 children and he did anything for them.  He enjoyed playing baseball throughout his life, and watching baseball games as he grew older.  His hobbies included going to the gym, collecting coins, and watching the stock market.  Bob was a regular blood donor to The Red Cross, and San Diego Blood Bank, donating every few months throughout his life.  He attended high school at a Catholic seminary and always kept his religion and faith close.  Often saying the rosary for his family and friends, his faith in God did not waver.
Surviving family includes his son and two daughters: Bryant (Amy) Wieczorek and their son, Kaiden, of Santa Clarita, CA; Kristen (Jason) Allec and their children, Camden & Elslee, of Santa Clarita, CA; Bridget Wieczorek of San Diego, CA; and his siblings: Ariana, Steve, Julie, Larry, Mary Lou, Paul, and Bill.  
Memorial services to be held on January 22, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Santa Clarita, CA.  Reception to follow at Salt Creek Grille Valencia.  Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at: www.virginvalleymortuary.com
