Teresa Lynn (Wheat) Byers

   Teresa Lynn Byers, 52, left this earthly life  Friday, April 7, 2023 in St. George, Utah. She was born January 28, 1971 in Las Vegas, Nevada and raised by Richard Wheat and Laura Raschke. She moved to Moapa Valley when she was seven years old where she would later graduate from Moapa Valley High School. As a young woman she worked as a restaurant manager at the Casa Blanca Hotel, soon after that she married Jeremy Byers on January 9, 1998. Teresa then happily devoted her life to being a wonderful wife and mother for her five children who she loved deeply.

The most important thing to Teresa in this life was love. She was a free spirit who would do anything to make someone smile. She adored butterflies, wild flowers, tanning, and eating fresh watermelon under the sun. She truly enjoyed family gatherings, baking, music, dancing, and gardening. Teresa will be forever remembered as a loving nana, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt.

Survivors include her husband, Jeremy; her children, Alicia (Kyle) Robertson, McColey, Shayla (Leal) Mora, Cecelia, and Connor; her grandchildren, Ryker, Hiram, Berkeley, Zaiden, and Remington; her mother, Laura Raschke; her siblings, Tammy (Nick) Huerta, and Tim; and a large extended family. She is proceeded in death by her fathers Leonard Boula and Richard Wheat and her brother Rick Wheat.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd Logandale, Nevada.  Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com
