Thomas Neil Turner

Thomas Neil Turner, age 85, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020.  He was born March 15, 1935 in Mack, CO to George Phlander and Francis Meyer Turner.   He married Dixie Lee Almazan in Salt Lake City, UT on April 25, 1958.  She preceded him in death on May 4, 2017.
Thomas raised his family throughout California, but mostly settled in Santa Maria.  He managed Santa Maria Storage.  He retired to Beaver Dam, AZ in 2017.  He loved fishing and to travel.  He and his family were devout Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint Church members.
Thomas is survived by his daughter; Suzanne Turner of Salt Lake City, UT, his sisters; Neva (Harold) Strong of Beaver Dam, AZ, Yvonne (Charles) Christensen of Salt Lake City, UT, grandsons; Philip and Mason Turner and granddaughter; Jennifer Iverson.  He is preceded in death by his son Mark, his daughter; Kathy and grandson; Ryan.
A visitation will be held Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 6 - 8 p.m. (PST) at the Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E. Old Mill Road, Mesquite, Nevada.  Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 1 p.m. (MST) at the Murray City Cemetery.  Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.virginvalleymortuary.com
