After several years living in the cabin built by his own hands, they moved back to civilization to educate their children. After a short time in Arizona and Las Vegas, he accepted a job in the Clark County Building Department working in the Overton Office as an inspector and plans checker. He was respected and trusted.
He loved serving the Lord and to observe Godly Matters. He helped to grow the Calvary Church in Mesquite. His last year was spent with family in Southern California.
Survivors include his daughter, Rosemarie (Colin) Cato of La Canada, CA; son, Daniel (Cara) of Johnstown, CO; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one brother, Fred (Ruthie) of Cottonwood, AZ. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one granddaughter.
