Dear Beth,It was with great sorrow that I saw on Facebook that our beloved John had passed away. Our Father in Heaven, and His Angels must be extra happy to have him finally come home. I know his going will leave a huge hole in your life. I send you my love and prayers; and I know you realize he has just gone to a place you cannot visit yet, but I also know he will be anxiously waiting for you -- and I suspect hovering over you even now.I treasure the time I had with you both at the FamilySearch Center. John was so talented and skillful with those computers, and he carefully and tenderly taught me how to best handle them. Bringing in and setting up the new computers was a special treat for us both.I wanted so much to come down for both the memorial and the funeral, but I am a full time missionary now with my new wife, and my responsibilities wouldn't permit me the time. I hope to be coming through Mesquite sometime in the future, and will look forward to a visit with you if at all possible.Again, Beth, my love and thoughts are with you. You both were so much a Zion couple -- choice and very special Latter-day Saints. Elder Christensen

I hope you know how much we love John and you. I wish we could be there to give you a hug and tell you personally. However, our service in the Philippines Urdaneta Mission will not be finished until November. We look forward to seeing you then. John was a great friend and the most talented and faithful clerk I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing him with us over all those years. We will miss him dearly. We love you.
